We cannot legalize America if America falls

Last year, Congress came closer than ever to passing cannabis policy reform, and BOWL PAC is fighting hard to push it over the finish line in 2023.[1]

But here’s the problem: Republican leaders in both the House and Senate have declared their intentions to hold the debt ceiling hostage so they can demand cuts to Social Security, Medicare, veterans services, and other critical programs.

That’s why we are joining Robert Reich and other allies in petitioning President Biden to stop negotiating and invoke the 14th Amendment to ignore the debt ceiling. We need you with us! Add your name right now >>

For too long, Republicans in Congress have turned partisan politics into a zero-sum game, where not only do Republicans “win” but lower-income people lose.

By holding popular and effective programs like Social Security, Medicare, and veterans benefits hostage for their partisan desires, Speaker McCarthy and House Republicans could throw the entire government and economy into turmoil and they would trigger a recession or even worse, the next great depression.

As for the fundamental purpose of BOWL PAC? Well, America cannot legalize cannabis if we’re perpetually fighting an absurd battle as to whether or not we should pay our bills.

So if you support cannabis legalization, Social Security, Medicare, veterans, or just don’t want to see Republicans start a global economic depression, join us by adding your name to the joint action petition to President Biden demanding an end to this seemingly endless battle around the debt ceiling

JOIN THE FIGHT

As our friends at Inequality Media say: “If McCarthy and House Republicans don’t like it, let them take the Biden administration to court.”

Thanks for being in this fight with us!

With Gratitude,
